To make a collection of contemporary art is also to build a collection of men and women of our time.
It is also to confront ourselves to the unknown when we are sure that people who pass through the exhibition spaces carry off the remembrance of a seen artwork, carefully or even only glimpsed with such and deep differences, that this artwork will not seem to match wath we thought about knowledge and conservation.
The mystery (because we have to talk of mystery) is to note that the face-to-face established in a particular form, in a singular version, fills the look, the spirit and the memory of the one for whom the work speaks a personal language, forever unknown to us.
The drawings of this exhibition, gathered around known themes (the portrait of the beloved, the immense world, the tiny world…) are accumulated objects, infinitely small as imaginary beings, in some way tiny in the excessiveness world but which, by their presence, open extraordinary distances for those who wish to reach it.
