Jeongmoon Choi: The Pulse
of the EarthFebruary 29 - August 16, 2020
For her first institutional exhibition in France, the Korean artist Jeongmoon Choi (born in 1966 in Seoul, live and work in Berlin), explores the themes of line and space, of movement and Time, body and environment. With threads, UV light and sound, she builds a large installation that evokes the pulse of the Earth during an earthquake and transforms the glass architecture of FRAC Alsace into an immersive drawing such as a 3D seismogram, both aesthetic and disturbing.
