In 1986, Michèle Aittouarès inaugurated the Berthet-Aittouarès Gallery, rue de Seine in the Saint-Germain des Prés district. In 1999 she joined forces with her daughter Odile Aittouarès.
The Gallery moved to two spaces at 29 and then 14 rue de Seine, a historical place since it was previously occupied by Pierre Loeb.
In their two spaces Michèle and Odile Aittouarès develop the two axes of their approach, the one devoted to historical figures such as Hans Hartung, Henri Michaux, Jean Degottex, Pierre Tal Coat, André Marfaing, and in parallel to living artists painters, photographers and sculptors such as Vera Molnar, Nil Yalter, Pierre Buraglio, Jean Le Gac, Antoine Schneck, Jean Pierre Schneider, Claude Viallat, Etienne Viard, François Weil.
The Gallery is a member of the Comité Professionnel des Galeries d'Art, co-founder of Photo Saint-Germain and Jeudi des Beaux-Arts.
