The focus artist Susanna Inglada (1983) is known for her collage works on paper of people who are involved in an intense, sometimes even violent interaction with each other. She uses these highly expressive and dramatic figures to analyze the mechanisms of power in society.
In her recent work the focus has shifted somewhat to the role of women, the male gaze, gender and motherhood. At Drawing Now Galerie Maurits van de Laar will present one large work surrounded by smaller ones that interact with each other and thus form a narrative that is open for interpretation by the viewer.
