Presentation of the gallery

Lullin + Ferrari, founded in 2008 by Corrado Ferrari and Etienne Lullin, is a gallery dedicated to contemporary art with a strong network of artists, collectors, museum curators and colleagues of other gallery owners.

The gallery is located in a spacious location in Zurich, close to the Löwenbräu district. The gallery space was doubled in 2021 and now covers 180 m2. Lullin + Ferrari presents an exciting exhibition program, representing artistic positions that reflect a historical consciousness and an awareness of art history. Emphasis is placed on conceptual positions combining intellectual reflection and visual rigor.

Lullin + Ferrari presents a balanced program, on the one hand by giving well-known artists a permanent platform and on the other hand by working with artists at the beginning of their careers. The gallery occupies an important position in the Swiss art world, promoting artists collected by Swiss and international museums, corporate collections and important collectors.

Lullin + Ferrari operates as a boutique gallery for connoisseurs and also offers art, appraisal and consulting services. During the exhibitions, the gallery also offers guided tours, interviews with the artists and lectures.

Presentation of the artist in focus

Anne-Lise Coste (*1973 in Marignane near Marseille, France) studied in Marseille and Zurich, after which she moved to New York. She currently lives in Sète (South of France). His drawings and texts have the immediacy of graffiti and allow him to express subjective states of mind mixed with political criticism and literary phrases. With Dadaism-influenced language and intensely lyrical imagery, his work exudes irony, rebellion and emotion. She creates seemingly decorative compositions that actually offer us a catalogue of contemporary anxieties, where the immediacy of the gesture of drawing combines a strong poetic sense with an element of social criticism. His work is in the collections of many museums and companies, including the MACBA, Barcelona; FRAC of Pays de la Loire and Île de France; Aargauer Kunsthaus, Aarau; Swiss National Bank; Deutsche Bank and in numerous private collections in Europe and the United States. She has recently had numerous solo exhibitions, including at the Dortmunder Kunstverein, the CRAC in Sète, the Kunsthaus Baselland, Basel and the Salomon Foundation in Annecy.
